The social order is largely based upon which clan a person is a member of. These clans are largely based on geography, although there are some clans that overlap in territory.

Clan meetings are convened in the [[Althingy]], a forest clearing outside of Den Hëlgen. The moderator wields a branding iron, a reference to the Althingy's prime rule: anyone who brings a weapon or sheds blood is branded on the forehead with the Peacebreaker's Mark. Marked people are not entitled to any shelter or hospitality (though harboring them is not itself a crime) and are completely legal to kill.

While the island is independent in theory, the central government of Comer, as well as The [[Knights of Pelor]], have a great deal of control over government decisions.

The Recent [[Treaty of Den Hëlgen]] with Comer was signed as a consequence of The [[Denkirn Plot]]. It grants the [[Knights of Pelor]] free reign to establish naval bases along the coastline. Members of [[Pelorist]] religious orders can proselytize freely within its borders, with their expenses paid for by the country's government, as well the residents of where they are staying, regardless of whether the residents follow the [[Pelorist]] faith.

The central government has no standing army, and in times of war, can only field approximately 1000 soldiers. The rest of the island's military is comprised of clan militias. These has no formal obligation to support or assist the national military, though they can be persuaded by their personal interest or the opportunity for privileges or the spoils of war. The central government rarely has the resources to pay the militias as most nations pay a standing army, and so must rely on promises to get their support.

While few members of the royal family have been spotted entering its doors, the general populace believes that most of the royals have been there at least once to “destress.” The most commonly noticed patron is [[Isaiah Loxelain]], who is usually found sneaking in through windows or wearing ineffective disguises.

Hirian, a human and close friend of King '''before Marazdo''', noticing his companion’s increasing irritability and appetite since his ascension to the throne, gathered as many whores as he could into one banquet hall. The Iron Rills are a mountainous region in the eastern region of Omnia. It contains the highest point in Omnia, the mountain of [[Eirunand]]. The area is divided between its western range, which is practically impassable, the hills, which are largely uninhabited, and the rills, which come together to form the various river valleys in the area.

Most of the area is part of the state of [[Lexilla]], with the exception of the southernmost valley, which is a part of [[Horre]].
