The First Congressmoot on Succession was a meeting between the Voices of the five main powers of the Pentarchate, as well as representatives from minor regions and factions and observers from [[Extralegal Space]], which took place in ZY 3100. The Congressmoot was held originally at [[In The Face Of Absurdity]], a Selfmade station, until the assassination of the Voice for the Selfmade, Crafter of Regulations, which forced the the ‘Moot to be called off and reconvened on [[Lambent Station]] five standard lunar cycles later.

==Background==

Two years after the beginning of the start of what would become the [[Pentarchate Succession Crisis]], but at the time was merely the [[Iridium Throne]] succession crisis, the severe sanctions set on the Throne by [[Weun]] and the [[Selfmade Consensus]] had at last forced [[Varuk Mai]] MMCV to enter to the negotiating chamber. The [[Democratic Republic of Aegypiinae]] and [[Inokh]] were requested by both sides of the conflict to attend the ‘Moot as diplomatic backup, and they did so, although for their own reasons, which will be summarized shortly.

The main topic of debate from the outset was to do with the recent conduct of the Throne, both in its erratic foreign policy and severe domestic policy, and whether [[Varuk Mai]] MMCV should be retired from office. This focus<ref> ‘Focus’ as a term of course being used here very liberally</ref> would shift over the course of the ‘Moot from the eccentricities of a single ruler to a referendum on the Iridium Throne as a valid form of government under the [[Transrelative Arliok Code of Ethics]].

Wajwoshi is a staple food native to [[Weun]]’s southern hemisphere, which has been widely adopted by interspace cuisine for its culinary versatility.

Raw Wajwoshi is a fatty carbohydrate with a small amount of protein that grows in deposits on the bodies of Woshii, a kind of barypod. These deposits form when Woshii consume the toxic sacs in [[Ungbii]] along with their otherwise vegetarian diet of cereals. The acidic fungus in the sacs ferments the grain, allowing it to be preserved almost indefinitely - which is much longer than the life of a Woshii requires, but comes in handy for low budget space transport.

There is no need for euphemism. Furthermore, while I understand that off-shoots hate to acknowledge themselves as mere off-shoots, Inchoatism must also be contextualized as part of the larger spiritual movement in the wake of the Iridium Throne's fall from grace.
